Competitive swimming in Stockholm

Do you want to swim faster and learn it in a real swim club?

Stockholmspolisens IF Simförening (or shorter: SPIF Simförening) is a swimming club that draws its origins from the Stockholm Police Athletics Club, originally founded in 1912 when the Olympic Games were held in Stockholm. SPIF is one of the all-time most successful swimming clubs in Sweden with several Olympic and world class swimmers.

Today the club has more than 900 members and offers training and a chance to compete at all levels, from beginners to elite and even masters/adults.

SPIF is driven by the motto "quality and heart". You should have fun during training and be given the tools to develop in tune with your own ability, thus allowing for the development of a high-level competitive swimmer.

Stockholmspolisens IF Simförening offers training at seven different swimming pools in Stockholm. Many of our competitive swimming groups practice at the national arena for aquatic sports at Eriksdalsbadet enclosing both a 50 m olympic pool and a 25 m competition pool.
